The juried competition offers $1,000 in cash prizes along with credited publication in the forthcoming guidebook, Where to Bike Chicago. The deadline is July 15, 2010, and there is no fee to enter.

One Grand Prize ($300); two First Places ($200); three Second Places ($100).

Entries should exemplify the joy of bicycling and must depict at least one person (an adult or your child) with a bike. Subjects riding a bike must be wearing a helmet; subjects sitting on, walking, standing or sitting next to a bike should not be wearing a helmet so their faces are more visible.

Each entry must be a sharp, crisp, high-quality digital jpg - 300 dpi at 4x6 inches, or larger. Photos remain the property of the photographer.
