Stylish bike-friendly clothing is functional for riding and looks great both on and off the bike. A key defining factor of bike-friendly clothing is allowing for a wide range of movement (for example flared shoulders, flexible hips and flared or stretchy skirts). Bike-friendly clothing is not limited to apparel designed exclusively for cycling, but rather applies to any article of clothing that works well while riding a bike.

    Hey Everyone!!

I am a 4th year design student at kwantlen polytechnic university in vancouver. I am researching my thesis and am interested in designing apparel for women or men who cycle from home to work. This clothing would be functional for your bike and would suit your work attire ( whatever that may be ).

Would anyone be interested in this idea? Would you wear apparel specific for your bike that is high fashion? What if it was water proof, or have various layers, or worked with your helmets?

What if backs of skirts or suit pants or whatever it may be were higher in the back for full covereage and lower in the front to bend?

What if this clothing didn't even look like it was made for a bike ? and looked like high end clothing for work?

Tell me your thoughts, or anyones thoughts, or anything you know!!!!!!!!!

    Cheers,
