Laurie Featherstone has been riding bikes since the age of four. Today, she continues to ride and is the proud entrepreneur of Two Wheels Green Delivery, providing efficient carbon free delivery in downtown Toronto. Let it be known that Featherstone is more than a courier or messenger, as she’ll load up her wagon with almost anything that fits. “Most deliveries are food related, such as fruit and vegetables, organic glass bottled milk, fresh roasted fair trade coffee, and rain barrels”, she explains.

She currently has half-a-dozen regular clients, and is hoping to attract more business from like-minded green thinking organizations. Most deliveries average around 6 km, with the longest distance being up to 20 km each way. In the future she would like to branch out and include deliveries to seniors and other individuals who aren’t able to do their own shopping easily. Realizing weather may have some say with her business model she officially closes shop on December 31st, and reopens on April 1st.
