Toddlers and kids are notoriously hard on shoes, but the Targhees have stood up well to getting wet, being dragged around and kicked through gravel. These tough little shoes are also very comfortable, due to the wide foot bed. They can be a bit difficult to get on, but once in place, they stay put. The toe wrap sole protects toes from being stubbed on curbs and rocks, and the elastic lace system is easy to use and impossible to trip on. Overall a great little shoe.
