The new Movmoda Unisuit is a sporty and stylish original one-piece garment, reminiscent of a 1940s bathing costume for a racy female superhero.

The unisuit was designed and sewn in Los Angeles, CA, and made of luxurious silky-smooth fine weave stretch nylon imported from Italy. It has a crisscross strapped open back and cheeky hot pants-style shorts. The Unisuit scores points for style, quality and versatility and its great fit and classic design make it perfect not only for cycling, workouts at the gym and swimming, but as an undergarment or flirtatious poolside frolicking garb.

This is potentially a new chapter for athletic attire, which need not be merely functional. For those who are shy and like to blend into the background, this is not the outfit for you; beware of admiring glances and compliments as you don this unique piece. It will likely attract positive attention.

Movmoda has bridged a gap between athletic function and saucy style with this hot little number.

Additional Comments from the reviewer: December 10, 2011

Yes! I love and often wear the Movmoda unisuit!  The Movmoda unitsuite is a silky, saucy, comfortable article to wear in general and its versatility inspires wear in various different situations, including the option of cycling, I epecially love it when riding around the seawall in the sun.

The Movmoda unisuit feels great on the skin and body and is suitable for wear in various scenarios for simply looking and feeling great.  It's sexy and sporty and I have not noticed any chafing, although on a bike i like to wear a little colour-co-ordinated pair of shorts or a miniskirt on the bottom as the shorts are tiny.

There is a thin removable bust padding which is optional. Since it is designed to be worn without a bra, the foam padding is a nice option to smooth out the shape of the bust. There is also a lining in the crotch, making it a true onepiece that requires nothing more than a pair of shades and some simple sandals or flipflops to complete the outfit no additional undergarments required!

There is a double hook and eye closure on the back strap, and the shoulder straps are adjustable. It is easy to slip in and out of, just like a onepiece bathing suit, and the back closure need not necessarily be opened to do so.

The first time I set eyes on this versitile piece was while modeling it at the 2010 Ready to Ride Interbike Fashion show.  Check out the video here!

  • Bike style

Nice design, but, I wouldn't be surprised if the "cheeky hot pants style" shorts cause chafing on all but the shortest coffee runs. Could be really nice with a little track jacket or shorty shrug sweater.

  • Biking shoes

It would be nice to see the model on a bike with actual biking shoes to get the real look of this outfit in action. Nice design.

  • details?

Would be great to have more info about this garment. Has the reviewer actually worn it, and if so, what does it feel like on a bike? Is there chafing? Is there padding? Where is the closure? Is it easy to put on and take off? I admit that I do not entirely understand what makes it good for cycling, so any additional details would be appreciated.
