  • 29er MTB

It was Gary Fisher who have idea to use sligtly modified 29er for my long distances tours on rough roads my Trek 520 and even 26''MTB do not handle properly. Once I had opportunity to talk and ride with Gary when on visit in Czech republik. It was really nice ride and I had opportunity ride hardtale and full suspension 29er. Riding first time 29er was like a driving tank on this beaten path and I was hooked ! I After some 10 000 touring miles I can say that Gary was right to use for fully loaded tours on rough roads nicely equipt 29er!

I LOVE THE MAN GARY FISHER FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR MTB BIKING BUT YOU SEEM TO FORGET THE PART THAT ROBERT BUCKLEY (MARIN BIKES) HAD IN MTB BIKING AND WITH GARY FISHER .

  • Gary

Gary is a pioneer and was an inventor of his version of what we call the mountain bike! A legend! If you can get your hand on the movie documentary "Klunkerz" you will know what a cool guy he is and what an influence he is in the cycling world, especially on the west coast. You should take his word as gospel, as nobody is as involved as he is in the cycling community or business as Gary Fisher.
