The Skuut is a formed plywood push bike for children just starting to learn how to ride. The absence of pedals makes it possible for children to focus on balance, which can make the transition to a pedal bike easier. Aimed at children two years old and up, the real limitations on use are the height of the child and their sense of balance. The steering is adjustable, making it possible to limit the turning range; the seat height is also adjustable. The ultimate test of durability has been proven out by over six months of use. Areas of improvement could include better machining of the parts and a slightly more comfortable seat. At the listed price, though, this is a great way to get your child out riding as it makes cycling instantly fun.
