For years I have been looking for a completely waterproof pannier that combines the pockets and organizational options of Cordura sewn panniers. Vaude has made that exact pannier in their Discover Pro Line. With small waterproof zippers on the lid and front pocket, and a bombproof attachment system, these panniers will hold all your gear and keep it dry. The waterproof fabric is welded together – it is also lighter than sewn fabric! The only downside is the mounting system will not work with some racks.
