The Zigo Leader X2 is super stable and, with its seven-speed internal gears, anyone can get on this bike and ride with their child – though you won’t be going anywhere fast. The front detaches and turns into a stroller when you flip the front wheels down, which is great because, invariably, most kids fall asleep on the ride. It is also possible for the 20” wheel bike, minus the stroller, to be ridden on its own. Some other quick points: the upright sitting position enhances your visibility; the bike stops quickly due to a drum brake in the front; and the Zigo comes with a back fender, safety flag and bi-pod kickstand. I highly recommend the seven-speed if there are any hills where you live. I would also make sure you leave the bike store with a back rack, front and back lights and a bell. Though it is a wide load it does fit through a standard doorway – something some double bike trailers will not do easily.
