Heels on Wheels El NatualistaEl Naturalista Tesela N740 in Mora
The mosaically-named Tesela shoes, in a beautiful purple hue called "Mora," are one of the latest offerings from El Naturalista, a socially-responsible company hailing from Rioja, Spain.
It’s wonderful to wear gorgeous shoes that aren't messing up the planet. Spanish shoemakers El Naturalista use eco-friendly production methods - including nontoxic, natural dyes and materials - promote traditional craft skills in manufacturing and consider cradle-to-cradle ideals with their biodegradable and recyclable wares.
So now I can walk without that extra guilt. And walk easy I do! I am one of those folk who can never seem to wear a new pair of shoes without ending up covered in blisters. But somehow the Tesela’s gave me no problems, regardless of whether I wore tights or bare feet, walking or riding.
I adore the rich color and the velcro closures that make them a cinch to throw on. The heel is just high enough to feel classy, but wide enough that you don't feel off-balance. They work great while cycling since the rubber sole stays put on your pedals - an important factor for stylish cyclistas!
