What better way to end your day than to savor a leisurely sunset ride through North Brooklyn, ending in an all inclusive private dinner party, enjoyed outdoors, and prepared by an artisanal local chef?
Get Up and Ride has partnered with a local farm and a professional chef to bring you the best end to your day in Brooklyn, A Bikeable Feast. The ride shows guests hidden urban parks and expansive waterfront sunset vistas from Williamsburg to Greenpoint, and ends at a tiny organic farm near the base of the Williamsburg bridge. Upon arrival at the farm, guests are greeted by seasoned private chef Shane McGarvey, for a 4 course meal all prepared en plein air and on the coal grill. McGarvey has developed his honest, flavorful, and adventurous cooking style over years working with seasonal, local, innovative ingredients, and letting their natural flavors shine through in his deft yet minimalist style. Music playlists are curated by local music buffs The Most Definitely, rounding out the complete multi sensorial experience. This urban excursion is perfectly suited for the adventures foodie who has seen enough of tired restaurants,and wants to take their evening to a new level of multi sensorial appreciation.
