To help kick off the tour, Grant Petersen was there as part of his book promotion tour for Just Ride. Petersen fans were hanging off his every word as he took us through a quick historical tour of the history of the bicycle.
Other event highlights included the Pelago, the B_ant and the Tout Terrain bicycles on display, and the complimentary Hendrick’s Gin cocktails; my favorite was the classic Gin with Tonic and a cucumber slice.
This was not your average bike shop party, that is for sure.
The Tour continues in Denver, CO at Salvagetti’s Bicycle Workshop in conjunction with the North American Handmade Bicycle Show. The kick off reception is Saturday, February 23rd. We hope to see you there!
