The entrance way to the Momentum office is now smoother for bike riders with a little extra pavement on either side of a guide rail for a sliding gate.

Sometimes the smallest and simplest changes can make a world of difference.

On my way to work this week I noticed a simple yet significant change to the parking lot entrance for our office building, located in the BC Electric Railway Historic Building in Vancouver, BC.

Our property managers had added sloping concrete on either side of the guide rail for the sliding gate that secures the parking lot over night.

Wow, what a difference!

Now the ride in and out of the parking lot is that much smoother. We want to say thank-you to our property managers MacDonald Realty for constantly improving the bike-accessibility of our office building, and for showing the tenants that are choosing to ride a bike to get to work that we matter.

Is there something about your office/ work place that can be improved with a minimal budget? Ask for it.

Has your office/ work place done anything similar? Share it with us by emailing a photo to photo@momentummag.com
