University of Minnesota

I ride my bike 15 miles to the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. It helps me focus and sit for 8 hours a day, plus it makes me feel like a carefree little kid. I have seen many beautiful skies and wildlife on these rides–much of it would have been missed had I been driving.

The highlight of my ride is riding through the Mill District and past the Stone Arch Bridge along the Mississippi River. I have encouraged several women to start bike commuting.
