Start Up Cycle at Amazing Laughter
On Friday, August 16th Invoke Labs, Momentum Mag and the Vancouver Economic Commission hosted a slow bike tour of Vancouver, BC as a part of the GROW conference held at the Convention Center on Aug 14-16. The ride started at Spokes Rental in the West End/ Coal Harbour and passed by Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park before ending at a pit stop at the Amazing Laughter. Riders were greeted with mini cupcakes from the Vancouver Biennale team and asked to vote for the sculpture as part of the Great Places in Canada contest that closes in September. The Amazing Laughter sculpture was donated to the City thanks to a 1.5 million dollar donation from Lulu Lemon's founder Chip Wilson.
The ride then continued along the Seawall to the Carrall Street Greenway and ended with refreshments, snacks and prizes at Chill Winston in Gastown.
