    Also please be clear that this is an article by a publicist. "Carbondrivesystems.com" sounds more than a bit like a (trade) publication about carbon drives but it is just the url of the Gates carbon drive website. One should not have to click a link to find that out. Thanks!!

    And its "progressive innovation" means that an Audi motor vehicle will NEVER hit someone riding one of these things. It is some kind of automative variation on the Kosher rule of not mixing milk and meat. And for more information on how private vehicle use is destroying tropical forests due to demand for bio-fuels, see...

    C'mon, gals! Audi is only doing this to create some unique marketing for their main product. It is in no way similar to a brand like Peugeot which began with making bikes in the late 19th century and after perhaps a 25-year break is making them again. The French company is offering several affordable and practical models, not this super-precious wood thing no one - not even some hip person who drives the most-expensive Audi - will leave on the street.

    I am all for many ways of getting people on bikes but this is simply unexcusable.
