TORONTO, ON - Get out your finest tweed!. That was the rallying call at the Bikes Without Borders and BikingToronto.com first annual Tweed Ride Toronto.

Participants started their ride at Trinity-Bellwoods Park Gate on Queen West at 3 p.m. The route covered some of the city's finest landmarks, included a break for high tea with renowned cycling co-operative the Urbane Cyclist and ended with a big-bang party at the historical Dovercourt House.

Prizes, including a Brooks saddle bag, were awarded for Most Distinguished Chap, Most Lovely Lady and Most Awe-inspiring Moustache. All proceeds supported Bikes Without Borders, a non-profit organization dedicated to using bikes and bike related solutions for marginalized communities.
