Boombotix Boombot Rex Wireless Bike Speaker Review

The Boombot Rex is an incredibly compact, lightweight, and, for its size, very loud wireless speaker. Battery life is on the low end at 6 hours, but the increased portability due to its smaller size is worth the trade-off. The super strong clip attaches securely to a belt, bungee, bag, or almost anywhere. On the bike, the speaker was loud enough for a small group ride with a good range of sound throughout though the bass is not as full as others tested. The Rex features the ability to “daisy chain” multiple speakers together to extend sound coverage. Works also as a Bluetooth receiver that can be wired to larger speaker systems. Speakerphone, track control, and one touch Siri activation add extra value.
