Frame Builder as Hedgehog
Richard Sachs is an artisan bike frame builder of extremely high repute in Connecticut. And perhaps, like many other frame builders – particularly those who work solo – some may well regard him as a little bit eccentric. How else to explain this whimsical illustration? It does remind us that there is something remarkably innocent about riding, building and working on bikes.
