Carry It On A Bike

“I borrowed a friend’s folding bike for a weekend trip to LA. I picked it up at his house and, since I have an Xtracycle, I just packed it on the back of my bicycle to carry it home.”

Carry it on a bike

I needed a shelf for my studio, so I rode my bike, 1940's cruiser to Rottblotts the junkyard and picked up an 8' industrial steel shelving unit, very sturdy, very cheap! It must have weighed 100lbs. I'm 5'4". I roped the verticles and 8 shelves to my bike, and pushed it 10 blocks to my studio. That was easier than carrying it up the stairs. I still laugh about it - must have looked pretty funny.
