Spokes
Part of your bicycle wheel, spokes attach to inside of the rim of your wheel at one end – where they’re secured by spoke nipples – and lace into the hub of your wheel at the other end.
They give your wheel structural integrity and strength. If it wasn’t for your spokes, your wheel would bend when you sat on your bike.
The number of spokes per wheel varies, but tends to be 28, 32 or 36.
You can true your bike by tightening and loosening your bike spoke nipples.
