A smooth riding bicycle with a great profile, the Electra Ticino’s standard features include a Shimano Atlus 7-speed derailleur with thumb shifter, stylish pounded aluminum fenders and upright cyclo-tourist handlebars. The frame is made of an ultra-light alloy and comes in two sizes, regular and large.
Tell Your Friends
Initially, the Ticino felt like a messy marriage between a city bike and a beach cruiser, but after a few rides I realized that this is what makes it so unique. As with other Electra Bikes, you ride with your weight firmly on the saddle freeing up your hands for waving at friends, fist pumping or whatever it is you like to do. Electra’s Flat Foot Technology enables you to place your feet flat on the ground at any time, saving your back, neck and arms from getting tired.
The lack of a kickstand and rear rack as well as having quick release skewers front and rear make the bike feel more designed for weekend riding as opposed to daily use.
The Ticino is ideal for casual bike riders looking for a fun, relaxed way to cruise around a city or seaside bike trail. My father would like this bike as much as I did.
The Ticino is a fun, affordable and practical bike and should provide the first-time or casual bicyclist with the value, durability and performance they’re looking for. If you haven’t taken an Electra Bike for a test drive, you should definitely do so when buying your next city bike.
