Weighs 24 ounces; carries up to 21.3 liters

The Teeco market pannier has a wide rubber boot at the base that allows it to stand upright with two rigid stringers that hold the pannier open and act as an anchor for the clips. The sides are a durable nylon mesh fabric and the back has foam padding with stowable backpack straps.

Pros

The bag is easy to load and unload because it always stays upright. The bag is also fairly tall and narrow, which means that your heels are less likely to make contact with the bag on bikes with shorter chain stays. The breathable mesh make it ideal for carrying fruit and vegetables, as well as wet beachwear. The clips are simple and easy to slide onto a rack.

They are screwed in place, which means that in the event that they break, they will be easy to replace.

Cons

While testing the backpack function of the bag, I found that the rubber boot at the base of the bag dug into my back. This made the backpack suitable for short hikes to the beach or to a store. But I would not recommend it for a longer trip unless you managed to put some padding on the rubber base.

Ideal Rider

This is perfect for running errands and for casual everyday use around town, the beach or the cabin/ cottage.

Overall

A great bag to keep next to your front door. It was one of the first things I’d grab to go run errands.
