Fashionable Reflective Bike Shoes by Cole Haan

Fashion meets function in a bold new design from popular shoe brand Cole Haan. The Monroe penny loafer riffs on a classic design adding reflective uppers illuminated by headlight beams, amping after-dark safety on a bicycle or in the crosswalk.

With pedal-friendly features like a mini stacked heel, fully padded leather lining, and concealed Nike AIR technology for comfort, one would swear these shoes were designed with cyclists in mind. “We’ve been having a lot of fun modernizing our classics,” said Phil Russo, director of design for Cole Haan, “breathing fresh life into our silhouettes, and the use of reflective material certainly got us there.”

Russo said it’s all part of a broader creative initiative to celebrate the Cole Haan heritage while embracing fresh perspectives.

The versatile flats come in five bright colors, as well as black and grey. All look great paired with slim pants, city shorts, and flared skirts. There is a men’s reflective wingtip style, too.
