The Urban Bikeway Design Guide, now in its second edition, is positioned as the go-to resource for planners that are designing bike infrastructure in North America.

The guide is intended to assist cities in finding appropriate bike- and pedestrian-friendly solutions to the unique challenges of adapting existing urban streets. Since many municipalities lack the resources to test multiple street designs, the guide is sourced from worldwide research on urban cycling infrastructure and through real-life case studies.

To further assist planners, the authors offer three levels of guidance; required elements, recommended elements, and optional elements. Bike lanes, protected bike lanes (cycle tracks), intersections, bike boulevards, signs, marking, and signals are all illustrated with clear diagrams and detailed explanations.

While intended for planning professionals, the guide is also an excellent resource to help advocates, politicians, and residents develop a common understanding of the latest bike facilities.

  • These same apartment cleaning services Los Angeles use 100% biodegradable and green products.

and get a few estimates. Is there anything special
that the cleaning service needs to know about.
