Was told by a friend who lives in NYC and who tried to attend this event that the whole thing was very secret and private because, it appears, clothing designer Tommy Hilfiger was doing the ride. She couldn't find out where the ride was, let alone do the ride. She was very disappointed. If true, that would be too bad, as the London, DC, and other Tweed Runs are open to everyone, and are not at all like my friend described.
