Using Double Shell in-Mold technology to fuse outershell to a shock absorbent material, this helmet provides complete protection through deep temple and neck. Rear LED light and rain cover are integrated into the helmet’s design, along with ZoomLite adjustment system. Manufactured in Germany, there is a 2-year limited warranty. Available in M and L in 6 different color schemes.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS

The Pedelec helmet has two interesting functions that I really enjoyed: the LED rear light and the integrated rain cap that has a dedicated stowaway rear compartment. The Fidlock magnetic lock clasping system is a definite bonus once I got used to it.

WISH LIST

Though quick for head sizing, the ZoomLite handy wheel adjustment system’s wheel would often loosen when I looked to the left, because it would turn on my backpack or collar of my shirt. This led to me having to stop to size it correctly, which could be irritating at times.

SUMMARY

The ABUS Pedelec helmet is a versatile, comfortable, and lightweight helmet with some great features. The rear light is awesome, and if you live in a place where it rains, the built in cap adds to its practicality. I would love to see the easy adjust wheel in the back tightened or hidden more for the next generation of this helmet. Overall, I would definitely recommend this helmet as it meets all of my basic needs and its features add to its versatility.
