Nutcase Helmets have introduced a lower profile, lighter weight, everyday commuter helmet called the Metroride.
Nutcase Helmets, best known for their colorful, skate-style bike helmets, have introduced a new lower profile, lighter weight, everyday commuter helmet called the Metroride.
Boasting increased airflow and Nutcase’s signature graphics, the Metroride was created in partnership with helmet designer John Larkin specifically for urban daily commuters. “Back in 2006, bike lovers really got behind our graphic designs and helped us grow a new lifestyle helmet category,” said Michael Morrow, founder of Nutcase Helmets. “But just as one graphic doesn’t fit every personality, customers started asking for our fun designs in a wider variety of helmet styles. The Metroride is our attempt to bring Nutty style to the daily commute.”
On sale in spring 2015, the Metroride will be available in ten graphic designs including American Dream, Black Jack, Browndana, Dutch Orange, Geared Up, Heart & Soul, Shark Skin, Spartan Blue, Technicolor, and The Original. Also included will be the Nutcase no-pinch magnetic chinstrap buckle, reflective woven straps, a chinstrap protector, and easy on/ off, sun/ rain visor for perfect riding in any commuting conditions.
The Metroride will be available in one size, S/M-M/L (55-59cm) with an adjustable Spin Dial creating a personalized fit plus sweat-wicking soft foam pads in three thicknesses (three, six, and nine mm), offering additional customization as needed. The Metroride is certified CPSC/ CE/ ASNZS for bicycle riding and will retail at $79.99.
