Velorbis Brings Style to Children’s First and Second Bikes

Danish bicycle makers bring style, durability, and a little luxury to their first line of kids’ bikes.

Written by:

Velorbis, the Danish maker of iconic and classic designer bicycles, has launched a new range of classic, fun, and robust children’s upright style bicycles and leather school bags.

Available in two frame styles, the Vickie with a step-through frame and Churchie with a diamond frame, the bikes are miniature versions of their popular adult counterparts. Designed in Denmark and made in Germany the bikes are designed to last a lifetime and intended to be passed down to family members or on to friends as children grow.

With a focus on durability and practicality along with style (and luxury), each bike is outfitted with front drum brakes, kids leather saddle, and kids leather handlebar grips. There are two sizes in both frame styles: Kids 5-8 years with 20” wheels and Junior 8-12 years with 24” wheels. Just like the adult versions, the children’s bicycles feature lugged steel frames, powder-coated rims, and the unique Velorbis trademarked metal rear carrier featuring a hook/ lock mechanism for safely carrying school bags on the side.

Velorbis Kids bicycles and leather school bags are set to hit European shops in April 2014. The Kids 20” will retail for €595 and Junior 24” for €650.
