The Dahon Jifo 16 is a single-speed, compact, folding bike that can fold with incredible ease into a very compact package. With 16″ wheels and aluminum frame and fork set, this bike weighs an incredible 20.3 pounds (9.2 kg).

Dahon’s Jifo is a never-ending series of pleasant surprises, starting with the surprising agility and handling which is far better than its size implies. The folding delivers as promised, with less than 15 seconds to fold or unfold once you have the hang of it. It fits anywhere, and the bike proved to be a head turner and conversation starter everywhere I went.

WISH LIST

I had to think long and hard about this as the bike is so complete, but perhaps a slightly longer rear fender in case you get caught in the rain.

The ideal rider is an urban dweller looking for a bike that can take them from condo to train to work, or to Amsterdam as suits their travel schedule and whim.
