Gazelle, the Royal Dutch bicycle maker, has recently added the Van Stael, a retro-inspired steel ride to their impressive selection of city bikes.

Paired down from the iconic brand’s regular offerings, this stylish daily rider draws inspiration from sporty retro 3-speeds though boasts updated high-quality parts.

The Van Stael R7V model comes equipped with a partial chainguard, Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub with coaster brake, stainless steel fenders, and Continental tires. Beautiful Brooks England Cambium C17 saddle and grips lend to the modern retro look and feel.

The lugged steel frame is available as a mixte or diamond frame in a limited edition Sandstone color.

The Van Stael R7V will be available for $1,259 USD in late December 2014 at AIKA, for urban cycling.
