Giro’s Ride Crew, a piece from their recent New Road collection, is made of a wool blend of 75 percent Merino wool and 25 percent Poly Blend. This crewneck t-shirt is designed to fit an active rider. Available in two colors and sizes XS-XXL.

SUMMARY

Although I wear wool in some form almost daily, I never truly considered a Merino wool base layer. Not sure why not, but after wearing this t-shirt for cycling, yoga, and camping I’m sold on the benefits! Giro’s Ride Crew wears like a t-shirt, being more substantial than an undershirt, and is made specifically for riders with a longer back to keep you cover when leaned over the handlebars. What they say about the moisture-wicking, odor resistant, and temperature control qualities of a thin Merino wool base layer are all very true. Activities that would normally cause we to get really warm and sweat in a cotton t-shirt were far more comfortable with the Ride Crew.
