The Lectric XP Lite 2.0 is a lightweight, foldable electric bike designed for convenience and fun. Weighing just 49 pounds, it is easy to transport and store, making it an ideal choice for commuters and recreational riders alike.

The new updated version includes upgrades such as a colour LCD display, hydraulic disc brakes, and new street tires.

Key Features

We have not yet ridden the bike, but Lectric outlines the key features as follows:

  • Pedal Assist and Throttle: Offers five levels of pedal assist and a twist grip throttle for customizable riding experiences.
  • Speed: Capable of reaching speeds up to 20 miles per hour, ensuring quick and efficient travel.
  • Battery Life: Provides a range of 20 to 45 miles on a single charge, depending on terrain, rider weight, and assist level.
  • Weight Capacity: Supports up to 240 pounds, accommodating a wide range of riders and cargo.
  • Included Accessories: Comes with a free Elite Headlight and Bike Lock, adding value and enhancing safety.

Worth noting

The bike weights 49 pounds, so despite the small size, comparable e-bikes such as the Carbo and Hummingbird weight less than 30 pounds. So, if lugging the e-bike up stairs or another significant encumbrance that should be taken into consideration. For an article on the lightest e-bikes on the market click here.

The battery in the Lectric XP Lite is certified to UL 2849.

The XP Lite uses a 300W rear hub-motor (819W Peak) with 28Nm.

Although a small bike, compact, with adjustable handlebars and seat post, Lectric suggests the XP Lite 2.0 can accommodate riders from 4’8″ to 6’2″.

We like that the XP Lite 2.0 is available in various fun colors and offers both standard and long-range models, the latter featuring 80 per cent more range and an additional rear rack.

We also like that for an extra $100 the JW Black edition, a new model not shipping until July, uses a Gates Carbon belt drive, and it would be great to integrate this option through the XP Lite 2.0 line.

With its durable construction and sleek design, the XP Lite 2.0 looks capable of a variety of uses for commuting, errands, or exploring new trails.
