OHM Cycles E-Bike Gets a Boost From SRAM E-matic

Simplicity is the focus of SRAM’s E-matic pedal-assist hub.

The hub works like an automatic transmission, responding to rider input and delivering power at low-speeds and efficiency at higher speeds. There are no cables or controls. Simply turn on the battery and go.

Looking to add simplicity to the e-bike market, OHM Cycles has released the XU450 E2 model that pairs an E-matic hub with a Gates Carbon Drive. “We designed this new model to make riding an e-bike even easier and more convenient,” said Michael DeVisser, CEO of OHM Cycles. “Just get on the bike and start pedaling. The SRAM E-matic does the rest.” OHM Cycles XU450 E2 is available in the US and Canada, starting at $2,899.
