Maximum carrying capacity: 49 pounds (22 kilograms)

The seat can be mounted easily with or without an existing rear rack on the bike and side bags can still be used, even with a child in the seat. The seat is very comfy and roomy for the child. It has good suspension, making the ride comfortable for the child, even when the road gets bumpy. The footrest height can be adjusted and the child is far enough from the back of the rider that he or she has a good amount of space for movement and to enjoy the view.

Pros

The fact that the child’s feet are kept in place also prevents them from kicking you in the rear end.

Cons

The seat belts are hard to adjust. It is only a three-point harness, meaning that the child can get free of the harness.

Ideal Rider

The manufacturer recommends that the seat be used for children one to four years of age with a maximum weight of 49 pounds (22 kilograms). We tried it mainly with our two-year-old. Our four-year-old is well under the maximum weight, at 40 pounds (18 kilograms), but too tall for the seat.

Overall

A very confortable seat for children smaller than one meter tall. I would certainly recommend this seat.
