Sophistication Distilled by Timbuk2

Timbuk2’s Distilled Collection, originally launched in 2013 by the San Francisco-based bag maker, has expanded for 2014 with new fabrics and two new women’s bags.

The collection, featuring 5 polished bags made of waxed canvas, felt, and leather, marks a sophisticated departure for the brand who are better known for their often colorful line of durable messenger bags. Built for city living, the Distilled Collection is designed for the many transitions we make as part of daily urban life. From work to play and everything in between, these bags feature timeless good looks for any scenario and an attention to detail that has resulted in superior quality.

New for 2014 are the Manhattan Tote and Rye Shoulder Bag. The Manhattan Tote is clean and classic with a magnetic closure as well as two slip pockets and one zippered pocket inside for organizing a day’s worth of items. The Rye is a refined yet sturdy hobo-style purse with thoughtful leather accents and includes a zippered smartphone case.

Originally available in a sturdy waxed canvas that ages beautifully, the collection is now also available in a Cognac color option that features a gray felt and rich brown leather body. The entire line, including the Proof Messenger Bag, Hudson Briefcase, and Walker Laptop Backpack, also features a premium liner fabric with soft surface finish.
