Television writer and producer Tom Smuts, known most recently for his work on Mad Men and Bosch, cycled to the Emmys for a second year in a row in an ongoing effort to change the way Hollywood views transportation.
After Smuts and a crew of 22 guests fascinated media outlets by cycling to 2014’s show, a few improvements were added to this year’s event. Smuts and his crew were able to ride their bikes right up on the red carpet and enter the Microsoft Theater even if they weren’t attending the awards show, and a bike valet was added outside. Smuts documented the ride on his Twitter account with the hashtag #bike2emmys. Check out the highlights below!

And to next year!
Next year's Emmy Ride will be all about access to bikes, to bike lanes and, why not, to the Emmys themselves. #bike2emmys #Emmys
