This rack is made in Maysville, KY, and measures 20.5” (52 cm) side to side and 13” (33 cm) front to back. The handlebar clamps are spaced 2” apart, which allows for good clearance for shift and brake cables. The legs extend from 13.75” (35 cm) to 21.25” (54 cm) and have two mounting holes. In total, the rack with fittings weighs 6 pounds (2.72 kg).
TELL YOUR FRIENDS This product is heavy-duty with plenty of options to tie things down for transportation. The sidewalls keep things in, while the open front allows you to carry larger parcels on your bike.
WISH LIST This bike rack would be better if it were easier to assemble and less heavy. It noticeably adds to the weight of your bike, making it more difficult to bring your bike up stairs, for example. It might be better if it were made of aluminum versus steel to make it lighter.
SUMMARY This rack is a good addition to my bike. The ability to carry heavy items, as well as awkwardly sized or shaped ones, means that the weight is taken off of my back. This makes for a more enjoyable ride on my bike.
