Momentum Magazine asked New York City/ Maplewood, NJ, resident Shawn Drayton, an apparel designer and blogger with Blog.Osloh.com,

What is Your BikeStyle?

Comfortable, functional, casual classics.

What are your favorite clothes to bike in?

Osloh – “Spoke” and “Track” Jeans or Osloh “Coast” trousers. A wool or cotton cap – a cap provides warmth and protection from the elements. Also, most of the time you will find me in some type of scarf. It’s a great sensation to have something flowing in the wind as you ride.

Where are we most likely to spot your bike?

On Durand Street – riding to and from NJT Maplewood Train station.

What do you like most about riding your bike?

The relaxed sense of freedom that it provides.

What is your dream bike for everyday biking?

ANT Bike’s Boston Roadster, from the Master Builder, Mr. Michael Flanigan. I could bore you with complete details and component specs, but I won’t. Needless to say, he makes a fantastic bicycle.

What did you eat for breakfast?

Peanut granola bar and juice.

What song is most played in your iPod?

“A Time to Remember” by Mr. Grant Green.

Basket or panniers?

Neither. I prefer racks with bungee web for securing items. This combination provides essential versatility.
