Delta’s Smart Phone Caddy II is a plastic phone mount that fastens to the handlebars of most road and commuter bikes, securing your phone with side bungee cords. Compatible with iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, and 5, Android, Blackberry, and other models up to 74 x 16 x 139 mm. Includes handlebar and stem mounts, all-weather water-resistant bag, and pads to make specific adjustments for cushioning.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS

The Delta Smart Phone Caddy II is quite light at 132 grams and the bungee phone clamp is relatively flexible and can accommodate many different phone profiles. I was even able to attach my iPhone with a preexisting rigid waterproof cover. If you have a larger OtterBox-style waterproof cover then the Android version of the Smart Phone Caddy will work.

WISH LIST

The only thing that I’d like to see is an easy way to remove the whole phone caddy quickly when I don’t need it or would like to move it from one bike to another. With the current bolt on attachment there is no quick-release.

SUMMARY

Having your phone mounted on the handlebars gets it out of your pocket and with a few well chosen apps it can really augment your city riding. I found the clamp attachment in daily use was easy to use, light, and unobtrusive.
