Whether you plan months in advance for Valentine’s Day, or wait until February 13, why not celebrate with a little bike love? Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Join a City Bike Tour

Bike tours are a great way to get oriented in a new city, but why reserve them only for when you’re traveling? Taking a city bike tour is a great way to get to know parts of your own city that you don’t often visit and to learn local stories that you may have missed. If you’re lucky enough to live in a climate where tour companies are still operating in mid-February, a city bike tour makes for a fun Valentine’s Day date with longtime lovers or new flames.

Leave a Valentine on Somebody’s Bike

Is there are a certain someone you have your eye on but you just don’t know how to tell them? You’ve seen them riding around town on that stylish city cruiser, why not attach a little note to their handlebars and tell them you like their style. You can even help make someone’s day by leaving an anonymous Valentine on a random bike or two, they’ll be sure to appreciate the compliment!

Rent a Tandem Bike

Relationships are all about cooperation, and so is riding a tandem bicycle. If you can pedal one bike up a hill together, then you’re probably ready for anything.
