Priority Bicycles, the New York-based trailblazer in bike innovation, is set to launch its latest offering, the Eight, on Jan. 16. Aptly named for its low-maintenance, internally geared 8-speed hub, the Eight promises riders a high-performance sports hybrid designed for unbeatable speed, comfort, and ease of use.

Engineered with Priority’s signature Gates Carbon Drive Belt, a performance Shimano 8-speed Alfine rear hub, and featuring an aluminum frame and carbon fiber fork, the Eight ensures a responsive and comfortable ride. This new model eliminates the need for seasonal tune-ups, providing a hassle-free biking experience for riders of all levels.

The Eight comes just in time for the new year, offering riders the perfect combination of style and functionality. This sports hybrid is positioned as the go-to choice for fitness, recreational, and commuting needs. Emily, a representative from Priority Bicycles, stated, “Consumers can take advantage of a limited-time $100 off launch special of $899 now through January 21.”

Eddie Meek, Director of Product at Priority Bicycles, expressed the company’s excitement about the new release, stating, “As we celebrate our remarkable 10-year journey, we are excited to showcase new advancements while upholding our commitment to producing reliable and long-lasting bicycles.”

The Eight, launching at the start of 2024, coincides with Priority’s milestone 10th year. This new model represents the epitome of a perfect sport hybrid, combining low-maintenance design, sporty yet comfortable geometry, and rugged durability suitable for riders of all levels.

Originally introduced in 2016 as Priority’s signature low-maintenance commuter bicycle, The Eight evolved into the iconic “Continuum Onyx.” Responding to the growing interest in cycling, Priority recognized the need for a hybrid model that promises a seamless experience for riders pursuing exercise, quick transportation, or leisurely rides with family and friends.

Dave Weiner, co-founder and CEO of Priority Bicycles, explained the rationale behind the new model, stating, “At the start of the year, riders are looking for ways to incorporate cycling more, be it health and wellness or lifestyle commuting. We saw a space where our low-maintenance design could deliver something unique – a ride that’s not just enjoyable but effortlessly easy to own.”

The Priority Bicycles Eight is now available for purchase for a limited-time price of $899 at prioritybicycles.com (regular retail: $999). For more information, visit www.prioritybicycles.com.
