The Yepp Mini is a front seat with a metal frame and an EVA polymer seat. The safety straps also have EVA foam pads that rest on the child’s shoulders. It has a small bracket attachment that is mounted to the handlebar stem. And it comes with an optional windshield accessory.

The seat is very easy and quick to attach and detach from the mounting bracket. The seat is mounted high on the stem so that generally the rider does not have to splay their legs when pedaling. The balance of the seat on the stem seems to keep the bike handling easy and stable.
WISH LIST
According to the manufacturer: To use the Yepp Mini, the stem must be made of steel and have a diameter of 0.8 to 1.1 inches (28 millimeters). As far as we could tell, this restricts the use to mounting it on quill-type stems on treaded headsets. It is not possible to use the mounting bracket on wider diameter threadless headsets common to many bikes.
IDEAL RIDER
The Yepp Mini can accommodate children up to 33 pounds (15 kilograms), or three years old.
SUMMARY
The Yepp Mini has a nice integrated handle for the child to hold onto. There is also an optional “sleep roll” cushion that can be attached to the handle, which allows the child to rest his or her head if she or he falls asleep during the ride. The seat felt safe and the design and color options were attractive to the tester.
The Yepp Mini is now available in the Momentum Shop!
