Today, popular cruiser bicycle brand Electra is launching a new Artist Series model dubbed the Kākau Go.

The latest in Electra’s Cruiser Go! Artist series takes inspiration from Polynesia — the birthplace of surfing. The Kākau Go features a matte ember frame, reminiscent of lava rock that can be found throughout the islands, complemented by a tribal pattern design inspired by the traditional tattoo art form, known as Kākau.

These e-bikes are works of art and don’t skimp on modern technology and high-quality components.

“The Kākau Go! is nothing short of unique and features carefully crafted details throughout, while the pedal-assist e-bike system provides smooth support up to 40 miles,” states Electra. “Individuality, meet fun.”

This new Electra model features a rear hub motor with three levels of assist. Even as a single-speed, the Electra e-bike system tackles pesky hills and longer rides. The bike also has mechanical disc brakes and cruise-worthy 27.5” tires along with custom fenders, saddle, grips and a matching bell making this a fun, stylish ride.

In addition, the Kākau Go has a step-over frame with Electra’s patented Flat Foot Technology®. It can reach a top-assisted speed of 20 mph.

Other models in the Cruiser Go! Artist Series bikes include the Shibori Cruiser Go! Step-Thru, which takes inspiration from the ancient Japanese technique of indigo pigment dying, and the Bali Cruiser Go! Step-Thru, which transports any rider deep into the jungles and lush tropical rain forests of Bali.
