Priority’s fantastic beach cruiser dubbed the Coast is releasing an upscale take on its classic Coast model dubbed the Enviolo Coast.

The most obvious addition to the Coast cruiser is that it has power by way of a continuously variable Enviolo City hub that allows riders to go up and down hills effortlessly with a simple twist of the wrist, free of any gear confusion.

Yes, it is similar to a push-button throttle found on some e-bikes and means you don’t have to fiddle with a handlebar display while churning up a steep incline.

Of course, this is a Priority, so we also have the high-quality Gates Carbon Drive Belt as well as a rust-proof frame and fork, which means the bike is durable and super-low maintenance. The Enviolo Model features front and rear dual piston 174HUDSON hydraulic disc brakes (hand-operated), along with a dual kickstand.

The Priority Enviolo Coast is priced at $949 and is available as a step-through or diamond frame. Right now until Aug. 21, the brand is offering free shipping in the Continental U.S. Click here for details.

A cruiser bicycle is generally an upright bike that is a bit more stretched out than a typical Dutch design just to the point of leaning back slightly. It’s a position that prioritizes rider comfort over everything else. It most often has a coaster brake, a single speed as well as a curvy and wonderful frame, wide handlebars, a plush seat and big balloon tires for smooth and easy riding. The frames are often made of steel so they last for a long time and provide a smooth riding experience while being relatively maintenance-free. Although there are a few slight variations, this is the general makeup of a cruiser.
