Wounded veterans will be cycling in events organized across the US to raise awareness about the physical and psychological effects of conflict.

These cycling journeys help wounded warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being and move forward in the company of others facing similar challenges. The rides are organized by the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other, and provides unique programs and services to meet their needs. Road bikes, adaptive bicycles and tricycles are provided free of charge to riders for their one-day cycling course of either 25 or 50 miles (40 or 80 kilometers).
